2018 in Review

As I work for Wycliffe Bible Translators, I am sometimes asked which languages I translate. The challenge of describing that I do not work in one language, but at a global level, is also an opportunity to communicate the wide impact of my work: identifying needs; measuring progress; supporting informed strategies; and most importantly helping mission partners work together with coordinated planning and activities. This not only reduces wasted efforts because of duplication; it gives the testimony that we are working the way Jesus calls his followers to work–as one body, serving one God in His mission.

This link will allow you to view a brief video that celebrates the work done through Wycliffe this past year. I hope that in 12 months we will be able to report another year of fruitful work in the mission of Jesus Christ.

Roger and Cherie Hanggi have worked with Wycliffe Bible Translators for the past 25 years. They first served in Cameroon, Africa for two terms. They have now returned to the U.S. and Roger is helping build a collaborative environment where mission partners from many organizations share information, coordinate plans, and shape strategies. It is amazing to see so many diverse missions learning to work and serve together.
